Holidays at Rockefeller Center

Through January 13, 2024

Nothing says “Holidays in New York” quite like a trip around the iconic rink underneath the Christmas Tree and the Prometheus statue at Rockefeller Center. The Christmas Tree is lit daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. Hours will be extended until 1 a.m. from December 15 through Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, the Tree is lit for 24 hours and on New Year's Eve it is lit from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Tree will be on view until January 13.

Christmas Spectacular Starring Radio City Rockettes

The Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes is a one-of-a-kind holiday tradition that transforms one of New York’s most iconic venues into a winter wonderland. The celebration sets Radio City Music Hall aglow with dazzling dance numbers and immersive performances headlined by the legendary Rockettes. Our very own Iona Singers are opening the show at 3:30 p.m. this Saturday, December 9!

Untermyer Gardens Grand Holiday Illumination

Through January 1, 2024

The Untermyer Gardens Grand Holiday Illumination is a free Yonkers tradition that thousands of visitors come to enjoy each year. See the Walled Garden lit with more than 100,000 lights and listen to holiday music from many traditions. The Illumination is then open every night from 4:30-8 p.m. through January 1 and it is free to the public with no reservations required. Illumination is also open on Christmas Day and New Year's Day!

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza

If you’re looking for a light-filled spectacle, look no further than Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza. Partake in a 1.2 mile drive-thru experience with thousands of lights as well as a 100- foot light tunnel and 40-foot Christmas tree. Bryant Park Winter Village

Nothing says winter like visiting the Bryant Park Winter Village, an iconic part of the winter festivities in NYC. The sheer number of vendors – more than 50! – is reason enough to stop by. The Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights

An interactive Christmas tour is followed by a performative reading from “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, adding to the Victorian-era Christmas celebration.

Celebrate the Arts at ArtsFest

That nip in the air means it's nearly time for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. The biannual event, which runs in the fall and spring, goes from Oct. 30 to Nov. 12 and includes prix-fixe lunches and dinners — for both dine-in and takeout — at $24.95, $29.95, $39.95 or $44.95. This year, there are more than 130 dining establishments to choose from across Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Ulster, Orange, Sullivan and Dutchess counties. Reservations are now open.
